When I saw that people could get logo designs from places like LogoWorks.com for $50, it was disheartening. Some of these were crap, but many seemed as good as or better than anything I could have come up with - certainly better than I could do for $50.

But today I saw this page. No wonder these logo factories able to come up with professional-looking designs so cheaply: they're ripping off logos that real designers have toiled over for hours, professional branding that cost a heck of a lot more than $50 in the first place.

It's nice to know that my skills aren't being commoditized quite like I thought. It gives me an incentive to improve.
